Often found growing in subtidal patches and lining the rugged beaches of San Juan Island, Bull Kelp isa hardy seaweed identified by a long whip like stipe topped with a gas filled bulb. It has become an icon of the Pacific Northwest and happens to be the namesake of our head brewer’s original homebrew operation. Bull Kelp ESB balances toffee notes with warm biscuit malt character and finishes with a touch of hop bitterness. You simply can’t help but have another Bull Kelp.
